Resentment increased against MS of ESI Amtritsar ; Vigilance committee members sought intervention from health minister

Resentment increased against Ms Jatider Mander MS of ESI Amtritsar. Even vigilance committee members of ESI hospital Amaritsar sought intervention from Madam laxmi Kanta Chawla; health minister of Punjab to get rid from Ms Jatinder Kaur Mander Medical Suprintendent due to her harassing attitude towards employees & patients.Besides AITUC & CITU now BMS also joined the agitation being planned. Reliable sources told that MS also defaming health minister Ms Chawla.

In a 16 points letter sent to the health minister these members said that evn operation theater of the ESI is standing closed since 20 may, 2008. This step has been taken under the name of renovation without making any alternating arrangements for needy patients.

Letter also said that M. S. also reffering patients to the Guru Nanak Hospital where these poor industrial patients have to spend first then to apply for the reimbursement.

These members also disclosed that M.S. belongs to Mohali so she generally remains busy on tours specially to Chandigarh side

Letter also says that no any meeting Vigilance Committee has been convened since she joined at Amritsar. When we contacted her office she was not available at her seat.
