Thursday, October 26, 2006 (Ahmedabad):After an 11-day break India take on West Indies at Ahmedabad on Thursday with the Caribbean side worried about the fitness level of captain Brian Lara.

Lara sustained a back injury in his team's win over Australia and himself sounded negative about his taking on India.

Despite the recent record against West Indies, India's body language suggests that they feel like favourites in home conditions.

"Their top order is good but they rely heavily on one or two key players and as we did in Malaysia, we know we can get them into trouble by getting the couple of key players out. That's what we will be aiming for tomorrow," said Rahul Dravid, captain, Indian cricket team.

The head to head between both teams shows that West Indies have won five of the last seven matches.

In the 2002 series in India, they won 4-3 and of course their overall record against all teams is still in their favour thanks to their overwhelming dominance in the 70's and the 80's.
