Salem hoping to contest UP polls

It seems Abu Salem has begun his campaign to get elected to the UP assembly in earnest.

Posters of the mafia don and '93 blasts accused have appeared all over Azamgarh, Salem's hometown.

The don is hoping to contest elections in 2007 from the Saraimeer Vidhan Sabha seat. The posters show the don greeting residents of Azamgarh on the occasion of Diwali.
