The U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron Thunderbirds perform the missing man formation Jan. 14, 2010, during the repatriation and funeral service for Air Force Major Russell C. Goodman at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Goodman, who served as the narrator for the Thunderbirds from 1964-65, was declared missing-in-action after his aircraft was hit by a surface-to-air missile over Vietnam in Feb. 1967.
